Macrame tutorial – how to braid a basic knot step by step?

Macrame is a technique that offers a lot of possibilities - and it all starts with learning the basic knots. If you want to learn one of them step by step, we have prepared a short tutorial on our Instagram?

In the video we show the entire process in a simple and transparent way, so you can easily try to make such a weave yourself.

We used two types of strings to make the tutorial:
• Light Gray braided cotton string 5mm 100m
• Silver triple-twisted cotton string for macrame 3mm

This combination perfectly highlights the structure of the knot and makes the tutorial clear even for beginners.
